Port Albert Inn
Port Albert Inn.

Open year-round and just 12 minutes north of Goderich, Ontario the historic Port Albert Inn provides rooms and cottages for visitors seeking an authentic experience in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Beside the waterfalls, and only a short walk to the beach, the coach Inn was built in 1842 in the quiet, natural setting of the Nine Mile River Valley in the hamlet of Port Albert on the sandy shores of Lake Huron. Whether staying for business or for pleasure you are sure to enjoy our friendly staff, our tasty food and, our comfortable lodgings.

Our very private cottages rent on a weekly or daily basis. We have fully serviced 2, 3, and 6 bedroom cottages nestled in our quiet, quaint, river valley. For your convenience the Port Albert General Store operates to provide all your necessities during your stay in Port Albert.

Every morning our guests are treated to a home cooked breakfast made from local farm produce. Our breakfast consists of pancakes and maple syrup, eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, toast and more.

While you are here you may decide to have some dinner in the Pub. The menu consists of home cooked meals made from fresh, local produce. With your meal enjoy a fine ontario wine or a pint of cold beer!

Afterward guests are invited to lounge by the fire or soak in the hot tub and gaze at the stars before retiring to a fire-lit room. We look forward to having you as our guest!
