Sandra Thornton , the owner of Lakeside Home & Cottage Services  has been involved in property management since the mid 1980’s, having worked for a London , Ontario, Property Management Company which had residential properties , that required a property manager . Sandra took on the task of a portfolio of over 650 units in SW Ontario to manage on a daily basis which did include the opening of two new high rise apartment buildings that increased the portfolio total to just under 1000 units.

In the early nineties, Sandra went out on her own and started her own company, a property management business (which is still active & in effect, under a separate corporate name) that became successful in tenant placements. The company managed single houses, townhouses, apartments and condos.  Throughout the years that followed, the company got involved with condo management which became a part of the portfolio of units under the management of Sandra. 

Being no stranger to the Bruce County area with  having spent a couple of years earlier living in Kincardine, and with family still in the area,  it was a decision made to relocate back to the region in 2008 . Sandra took up residence in Point Clark and has since started a new business in vacation cottage rentals & management, in addition to the residential property management.
