This brand new lakefront cottage was just completed in 2017 and is ready to rent for weekly summer rentals. Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, in the community of Inverhuron, the cottage is close to Inverhuron  Provincial Park. There is no shortage of activities for adults and kids, weather you are a nature lover, sports enthusiast, or relaxation seeker. Hiking, biking, animal/bird watching, swimming, snorkeling, having a campfire, practising photography on the beautiful Lake Huron sunsets, or sitting in a lawn chair while soaking up the sun, are just some activities to do during your stay.

The cottage includes 1 loft, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It can sleep 4 adults and 3 children maximum. The outside landscape includes a sheltered backyard with a lawn for yard games and a deck for family barbeques. The lakefront side of the cottage includes a covered porch for your morning coffee. There is a campfire pit area that overlooks the lake view. The rock beach has a large natural rock pier that is a beautiful spot to take a lawn chair and spend the afternoon wave watching.

It is 2 minutes to Tiverton, 2 minutes to Bruce Power, 10 minutes to Kincardine and 25 minutes to Port Elgin.

Rental Term:
Start of Seasonal Rental : May 19th, 2017
End of Seasonal Rental: September 16th, 2017

Rental Rates:
$1175.00 from May 19th,2017 to June 24rd, 2017
$1500.00 from June 24th, 2017 to September 2nd, 2017
$1175.00 from September, 2rd, 2017 to September 16th, 2017

In addition to each rental rate, there is a one-time cleaning fee of $85.00.

Rental Week and Times:
The rental week is from Saturday to Saturday.
Check In: 4:00 pm
Check Out: Noon

Included in the rental:
-Coffee maker
-Fridge, stove, dishwasher, small freezer space
-All cutlery, dishes, and cups, etc
-Mattress covers
-Wireless Internet
-Satellite TV
-Patio furniture

Renter to bring:
-Sheets and pillow cases for proper bed sizing (see Beds Section below)
-Tissues, toilet paper, paper towels
-Saran wrap and tinfoil
-Dish cloths, tea towel, hand towels
-Dish soap, hand soap, shampoo
-Hair dryer
-Lawn Chairs for beach
-Clear garbage bags (see Garbage Section below)
-Campfire wood (see Campfire Section below)
-At end of rental period, proof of refilled tank of propane (receipt) or pay fee $40.00

Cottage Information and Rules:

Campfire - A small campfire is permitted in the designated fire pit. The fire must be monitored at all times and be contained and controlled. It must be put out when not in use. It is not permitted on windy days. The cottage owner has purchased a fire permit for the season; therefore the renter is not required to. All renters are required to purchase their own firewood. It is available at various locations for sale in Inverhuron.

Laundry - Laundry is not included.

Pets - There is an $85.00 pet deposit required that will be returned upon the cottage passing the checkout condition inspection, which includes yard cleanup after pets. Should the pet inspection not be satisfactory, the $85.00 will not be returned.

Number of Guests - The cottage sleeps 4 adults and 3 children maximum. No additional guests are permitted, unless they are day visitors.

Beds - There is 2 queen beds and 1 set of bunk beds that have a single on top and a double on the bottom. Renters are to bring required sheets and/or sleeping bags and pillow cases accordingly.

Bathroom Facilities - There is 1 bathroom that includes a stand up shower.

Garbage/Recycling - Two bags of garbage are permitted to be left during your stay. Should you have more than 2 garbage bags for the week, it is the renter’s responsibility to take the remainder of the garbage with them to dispose of. There is a garbage bin and a recycling bin beside the tool shed to put your items in. Please ensure all garbage is in a clear garbage bag and put in this bin before checkout. Please note: to avoid attracting unwanted outdoor animals/rodents, garbage will be picked up once during your stay during the week by maintenance personnel (on a Wednesday or Thursday at approximately 5:00 pm). At this time, if needed, a 10 minute lawn cutting will also take place.

Non Smoking Rental - There is a deposit required that will be returned upon the cottage passing the checkout condition inspection, which includes a strict non-smoking policy. Should the inspection not be satisfactory, the deposit or a portion thereof will not be returned.

Neighbours - Please be respectful of neighbours on both sides, as they live there all year round. It is a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood and they do have young children. Noise complaints are not acceptable.

Parking - There is parking for a maximum of 4 vehicles.
